What is Add Stocks - Good Received Notes (GRN)

  • Managing inventory is very important function of any business. Inventory / Stock can be simply defined as the quantity of a particular product that is available for sale.
  • SmartSell POS has inventory tracking and analyze reports.
  • Using those reports, users can get an idea about which products run out of stock, available inventory, view the history of inventory movement.
  • Stocks can be added to the system quickly with few steps.
  • Stocks can be added both via POS App side and Backoffice Webportal. If your business have more stocks items, user can use Bulk Stock Upload option.
  • (Product’s page Stock Control option should ON, in order to add stocks )

How to Add Stocks - Good Received Notes (GRN) via POS App

  1. Open POS app, go to Menu and click Inventory.
  2. Then select 'Good received note'.
  3. Click 'Create GRN'. 
  4. Fill in the details. 
  5. Click 'ADD TO LIST' ,then 'VIEW LIST'.
  6. Click the save button and submit the GRN.  

How to Add Stocks - Good Received Notes (GRN) via Backoffice

  1. Login to SmartSell POS Back Office Webportal
  2. Select “ Inventory ” from main menu
  3. Go to the “Good Received Notes”
  4. Click “ Create GRN ” button
  5. Select relevant product from dropdown menu
  6. Enter GRN Quantity
  7. Click ( +) button
  8. Click “ CREATE ” button

How to Add Stocks - Good Received Notes (GRN) based on Purchase Orders (PO)

  1. Login to SmartSell POS Back Office Webportal
  2. Select “ Inventory ” from main menu
  3. Go to 'Purchase Orders (PO)'.
  4. Select the previously created PO. 
  5. Click 'CREATE GRN'.
  6. Click 'CREATE'.
